Very well done my man! I can definitely tell you have been working on some of your weaker areas. I cant really point out any faults with this one, very solid remix :)

I just wish I had as much time as you do to spend working on my own weaknesses, but you know... university stuff :P

Preds responds:

WOW, Mr. Arrez telling this is kind of a perfect track? (it isn't tho), I really appreciate this man!!!!

I feel like it starts out a little bit slow but once it kicks in its quite nice. The rhythms are so well orchestrated, I can never quite get my head around how you do it so well. As repetitive as the bass is it never seems to get old, something only you can seem to pull off.

I'm glad you went off on a tangent from your original plans here, it certainly paid off :)

Waterflame responds:

Thanks! Glad to hear it. I actually often have up to 30 different "variations" of the same bassline, it might be why. There's slight "real" dynamics to almost all of the instruments. Keeps it more.. alive! I guess.

This is really nice, I like it a lot! My only complaint I can think of is that the beginning sounds very dry
and the arp is too flat, play around with fade automation, panning and reverb a bit more.
If you did that here I reckon the intro would have sounded a lot more organic rather than forced, keep at it ;)

Preds responds:

Thanks for the review!

I'll work on my "intro atmospheres" thanks a lot

I find it quite cool that this was made with the mobile version of FL given how much more lightweight it is than the desktop version.

But this isn't too bad for a beginner at all, I mean it has the typical amateur mistakes such as being overly repetitive and flat (the drums help to disguise it a bit here though.) Plus the loudness could have been fixed through leveling and master compression. Although at a beginner level Id just say stick a limiter on the master channel in the mixer for now. (As you learn more you will probably stop doing this because its not a very good thing to do.) Also, if you programmed all of the drum patterns yourself (not just using loops) then I'm quite impressed actually! :)

All of your stuff is your own work and isn't ear rape-y, I see no reason not to scout you. I look forward to what you make in the future ;)

ReSiRE responds:

Thanks, that helps a lot. And also, thanks for scout. :)

Not bad, but your mixing still needs work. You cant just slap a limiter on the master channel and call it a day :P Drums hit a bit to hard and drown some things out currently.

I'm also starting to notice a lot of repetition between tracks in terms of drums... maybe its time to start using more different samples or invest in some new libraries? ;) Then again, you started the project nearly a year ago.

Preds responds:

I'll work on that, thank you!

Similar samples yeah, have in mind that this is an old song, I already got some new fresh drum samples :)

Easy enough for you to say, I still have a month full of exams (Important ones too!) ahead of me :P

This really isn't bad for 8 hours work though. I can tell where you've re-used assets from older tracks of yours so that probably explains it a bit. Cant wait until I'm free to do as much music as I want too :3

Preds responds:

Good luck in your exams :P

I´ve learned a lot from those 8 hours in Fl, specially at mastering. Haha, well, my older songs are a bit similar to this one, so that explains a lot :) because my older songs were basically the same style, thats why im trying to change it!

Thanks!!!

This is amazing, definitely one of my favorites :) Best of luck in the NGADM!
